SUNSET GLOW

This painting stuck out to me primarily because of its sharp contrast of a beautiful color palette. I love the texture and evocative feel; the white hot heat is tangible and intense. I love the subtle green touches of paint used here, since it adds an even deeper, almost metallic feel. I do feel like it is a tried-and-true method of color palette experimentation, an idea that had been seen before, but I also believe this example is well executed, creative, and beautiful.
