Needless to say but you have done it again, Teresa, your vision is distinctive and quite original. Your technique is flawless and the impact is a breathtakingly stunning encounter with natural beauty. Your color pallette is balanced and flows top to bottom unerringly from cool to warm to cool to warm. The observers eye is led in a dance upon the waves back and forth and to and fro between the vanishing point on the horizon into the sun drenched clouds and then back to earth on sandy shoreline. I especially love the way you have portrayed the water in this painting. I can almost feel the spray being lifted and carried by the breeze. The water looks wet and lively and the sky is leaving us with a warm memento of the day like a parting kiss.
Cool and warm colours are usually difficult to put together, as they are easy to clash against each other, but I think you did a great job with it. It would have been nice if there was another colour theme to tie them both together and other scenery to put your eyes at ease, like maybe the occasional seagull or pink clouds that are typically present, for example.
